Alex joined the MIABC’s Insurance Services department, as both an insurance representative, and broker for the MIABC’s wholly owned brokerage arm, Civic Risk Insurance Solutions Inc. He is passionate about helping the communities he works with and looks forward to applying his skills in the assistance of both MIABC members, and his colleagues.
Prior to his employment with us, Alex worked for over 10 years in the insurance and financial services industry, specializing in working with non-profit, co-operative, and member organizations. This background, coupled with his work experience in construction, outreach, and service with the Canadian Forces Reserves brings a unique perspective to our team, and members will benefit from his analytical skills and his easy communication style.
Alex is currently working towards his Canadian Risk Management (CRM) certification to better assist the members of the MIABC and looks forward to assisting the association in its delivery of Risk Management advice and services. He is also looking forward to obtaining his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation in the future.
