This is a stand-alone policy that relates to construction projects. This insurance protects all contractors/subcontractors/owner on larger projects against third party and general liability risks associated with the project. Architects and consultants are excluded from this coverage as they will provide professional liability insurance coverage for their role in the project. The policy will typically cover either a 12- or 24-month period after the project has been completed.
