This coverage can be added as an endorsement to the CGL where it is common that attached machinery coverage is excluded. This will protect local government against liability arising from the contractor operating machinery that is mounted or attached to a vehicle. It is a good idea to request that your contractor carry this coverage if they will be using machinery that is attached to a vehicle when carrying out the work under the contract.
